About the Course
This course is created by Udhyam Learning Foundation - a not-for-profit organisation that is working towards empowering micro businesses and independent entrepreneurs to scale their businesses and enhance their own means of livelihood. Their vision is for every entrepreneur to flourish economically & socially, with reduced barriers to opportunities.
Through this course, you will learn:
- What marketing is, its importance, and how you can utilise marketing towards your specific business goals
- What your business can do to identify different customer groups & best market your products to them
- Learn about - research on customer & competition, customer Segmentation, and framing the marketing mix
By the end of this course, you will know how to do market research to better understand your customer groups. You will understand how you can categorise your customers into sub-groups based on commonalities and then be able to do targeted marketing to the sub-groups you prioritise to achieve your business goals.
As you go through the various stages of the marketing process, the course will walk you through an example, so you can understand the practical use of these principles.
You will also be able to, step-by-step, fill out your marketing strategy document. While the one you fill out through the duration of this course will be for practice, it will better equip you to subsequently do all the groundwork and fill it out for your business.
